Senior Living Scout is an independent research and referral website focused on helping Sacramento-area families compare senior living and residential care options. We use public licensing records, facility/operator information, and other identified sources to organize information for families.
We do not treat the existence of a complaint as proof that an allegation was true. Where practical, we distinguish allegations, investigation outcomes, deficiencies, civil penalties, and corrective actions. A dated inspection is a snapshot, not a guarantee of current quality.
Scout Scores are currently disabled. We will not publish numeric ratings until the methodology, weighting, sourcing rules, and correction process are documented.
Facility profile pages do not use generic stock photography in a way that could imply the image depicts that community. We publish location-specific facility imagery only when we can reasonably verify what the image depicts and have an appropriate basis to display it. When verified imagery is unavailable, we prefer no facility photo to a misleading substitute.
Facilities may contact Senior Living Scout to identify factual errors or provide updated primary-source documentation. Corrections should not be conditioned on advertising, referral relationships, or payment.
